I don't think ASA's lower priority on Skywest is odd. Skywest bought ASA. DAL contracts DCI carriers to fly wet airplanes, not only does DAL pay for fuel, codeshare bookings and a lot of other "costs of doing business items", DAL can negotiate benefits as long as everyone is in agreement.

Don't worry too much about commuting to work. I hear ASA and Skywest will provide S2 positive space to position pilots through DAL mainline, bumping DAL employees from the seniority list.

I have heard that DCI employees think they are DAL employees. But so does the flying public.

You just have to call the UAL phone number (there is no web access UAX employees).

For DAL, you need to pay the annual $50 to nonrev or jumpseat...you can do that at any ticket counter or customer sercive counter inside the terminals.

You can always use the DAL phone system, but the online non-rev system is way better.

They will send you a password in the mail (takes a while), and then you can access their nonrev system at this website:

After that it's pretty self-explanatory...you can check loads, pay travel fees (if necessary), and list yourself and any of your eligible family members.

If more than one pilot shows up requesting the jumpseat, the computer automatically transfers the less senior, or lower priority pilot, over to the standby list. If the pilot being transfered works for Delta, or a DCI than the transfer will enter you on the list according to your PPR number.....effectively bumping all 5 rampers in your scenario.

I will be IMPOSSIBLE for more than one SkyWest/ASA/DCI pilot to jumpseat without paying a non-rev fee. The computer will not allow more than one to sit in the co*ckpit, and will transfer all other to the stand-by list. I f you have a PPR number you will be charged....if not (i.e. American, United, all other non Delta/DCI pilots), you will ride for free.

That is how the software works, and there is no getting around it.

That's the way it works everywhere, big guy.
If there's an AA mainline pilot trying to get on the same TSA-operated American Connection flight as me (a CHQer), he has priority over me. On a CHQ flight, however, I can bump him.
