What happened to Ruff Ruffman? ›

The show was going to have a sixth season, but it ended because of lack of funding. However, it aired reruns on the PBS Kids 24/7 channel but the channel stopped airing episodes overtime. A number of spinoffs were created and they also serve as continuations in a way.

The series ran from May 29, 2006, to November 4, 2010 on PBS across five seasons and 100 episodes, and featured 30 contestants. Although a sixth season was planned, with auditions taking place in January 2010, WGBH announced on June 14, 2010 that the series would end due to lack of funding.

Ruff-Ruff (voiced by Joseph West) is a 5-year-old red puppy, and one of the three title characters.

Part game show, part reality TV, and part spoof, Fetch! is a Daytime Emmy award winning kids show that features real kids, real challenges, real science, and an unreal host named Ruff Ruffman (yes, he's an animated dog!)

In Survival mode, penguins have a health bar and must survive as long as they can by repeatedly smashing fruit. Anvils and bombs occasionally come as obstacles which the player must avoid; later in the game, they may also bounce. Hitting an obstacle or landing on the conveyor belt makes the player lose a bit of health.

The long-time PBS Kids mascot Dash was discontinued, but supplanted by a new system of customizable cartoon characters seen in promos, which have customizable facial features, skin tones, and disability aids to reflect a diverse youth audience and how they portray themselves.
